BrewPing is built by a small team, so support is direct: the documentation covers most questions, GitHub handles bugs, and email reaches a person. There is no phone line and no ticketing portal — we would rather give you an honest answer than a ticket number.

Using BrewPing
Start with the documentation. It covers installation on macOS and Windows, installing the phone and watch apps, pairing, every desktop and mobile feature, the command line tool, the HTTP API and troubleshooting — with the real values, paths and ports rather than placeholders.
Bugs and crashes
Report bugs on GitHub Issues. That is where they get tracked and fixed. A report that lets us reproduce the problem is worth far more than a detailed essay, so please include:
- Which platform and version (the app shows its version in Help & About, or in Settings > Machine info on Windows)
- Your operating system version
- Which coding agent you were using, and its version if relevant
- What you did, what you expected, and what actually happened
- Anything the app displayed as an error
Security concerns
If you find a behaviour that lets someone submit commands without authorisation, or any build transmitting data it should not, please report it before disclosing it publicly. Tell us the specific behaviour and how to reproduce it and we will fix it rather than argue about it.
Purchases and refunds
The iOS app is a one-time purchase on the App Store; there is no subscription and no in-app purchase. Purchases, restores and refunds are processed by Apple, so Apple's own support channels are the fastest route for anything billing-related. We do not receive your payment details and cannot issue refunds ourselves.
The iOS app is not offered on the App Store in mainland China.
What to expect
There is no support level agreement and no guaranteed response time. Issues that affect many users get looked at first. The most reliable way to get unblocked quickly is usually the documentation, which is specific enough to follow step by step.
